We reject contemporary trends that reflect the popular culture, ignore principles of separation, and weaken the message of the gospel. We are dedicated to the fundamental doctrines of the Christian faith, to the sound, expository teaching of God’s Word, and to the preservation of traditional family worship. New Life was started in an old store front building on Highway 601 South in Concord North Carolina in September of 1982. 15 children and 6 adults gathered together in the former pool hall for the first service where Pastor Steele outlined his vision for a ministry that would reach and minister to all people regardless of skin color or economic status. Almost 30 years later at a new location on Biscayne Dr., this is still the vision of the ministry here as people from all walks of life and different backgrounds gather on Sunday mornings and Wednesday night to worship and study the word of God.

In a day when many groups are attempting to incorporate each new cultural trend into their idea of worship, New Grace Baptist Church has continued to emphasize the unchanging truths of the Word of God. Our primary objective is not so much to be pleasing to the culture around us as it is to be pleasing to our Saviour. Because of that objective, we have fervent Bible preaching, Christ-honoring music with a clear message, and a strong emphasis upon world missions and fulfilling the great commission (Matt. 28:18-20). We never want to forget the old paths of revival and evangelism. We strive to have a camp meeting church where all feel at home. We promote and practice old fashioned worship and we have only one Bible, the 1611 King James Authorized Version, the preserved Word of God. We are developing disciples according to the New Testament church ideal which was simple and devoted to praying, preaching, and praising God!
