To take a stand for the truth necessitates taking a stand against error. It is not the plan nor the desire of Philadelphia Baptist Church to be contentious, decisive or offensive. We do however, feel a divinely mandated responsibility to “… speak thou the things which become sound doctrine” (Titus 2:1) and “earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints”. (Jude 3)
