Our purpose at Valley Baptist Church is to give glory to God by “Loving God” and “Loving Others” (Luke 10:27), “Discipling Believers,” and “Reaching the Lost” (Matthew 28:19-20).
Valley Baptist Church is an independent Baptist church in Priest River, Idaho. The pastor is Tim Bayes.
Regarding Bible versions, the church’s Statement of Faith says: “Furthermore, we believe the writings of the Bible to be infallible in their original articles. We recognize that years of translation have had a minor effect on certain portions of the Bible. However, the meaning and clarity of the text has not been affected at all. Rather, we see the hand of God over the years preserving the Bible for us.” Thus, we have indicated that this church does not exclusively use or believe the King James Version.
