  About Pastor Eric:
  (This is not pastor/man worship, but the honest truth from a skeptical, careful (been burned), and analytical Christian.)
  We found Shepherd’s Grace Baptist and Pastor Eric after years of searching for churches here in North Idaho. Sadly, Pastor Eric was the ONLY pastor who was willing to answer our many hard and probing questions. The church is KJV Only, and that is rare to find these days anywhere in the US (we’ve lived in 7 states), but it’s even rarer that the church is KJV Only and NOT “reformed” (aka Calvinist). So that was refreshing alone after being burnt by a few churches in the area having attending them for a few months and realizing they did not advertise on their website clearly that they are “reformed”. Not to mention have pastors outright lie or avoid admitting they are “reformed”. This is NOT the case with Shepherd’s Grace Baptist, Pastor Eric is honest, blunt, but also very kind. God blessed Pastor Eric with a great memory and a kind heart. I’ve been a saved born again Christian for 30 years (got saved at 13 years old) and I have only known maybe one other pastor like Pastor Eric. He has been so patient with me and my many, many questions. I mean just not being chewed out on the phone or in person for asking about the KJV Bible or asking if he holds to “reformed” theology was refreshing enough, but the guy actually genuinely cares about his flock and reaching the lost for Jesus Christ. He prays for his flock daily and individually, he is always available for prayer, council, and encouragement. Most of all, Pastor Eric knows God’s Word extremely well, recalling verses and linking verses, and having a Biblical view of Rightly Dividing God’s Word with the correct dispensations and gospels.

  The Church Family:
  Everyone is genuinely friendly, loves to fellowship. We do not like cliques, and we try to encourage one another as much as we can. We have a heart for the lost and seek to see them saved. We absolutely LOVE God’s Word and learning more, which Pastor Eric delivers every time we get together. Great miracles and blessings have been seen in the church, I don’t say that from a signs and wonders kind of perspective, but just stating the fact. People’s lives have not only been saved, but blessed tremendously because of this small but faithful church. We are an interesting bunch, and it’s a blessing and fun to be part of the family. It truly is like a family to my wife, kids, and I.

  We love the Pastor of Shepard’s Grace Baptist Church in Sandpoint Idaho, Pastor Eric Cleric. KJV Proverbs 1:5 says “ A wise man will hear, and increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:”. Our family has been blessed to have wise counsel and friendship from Pastor Eric. We had a few seemingly unsolvable problems and were unable to see a way out. He brought a biblical light to our issue and exposed the truth which allowed us to gain some momentum and start working towards a solution. His preaching teaching and advice is directly from the KJV and there is no one I would more highly recommend than Pastor Eric for these things. Eric and his family have a huge heart for people and if you ever meet them you will see what I am saying to be true. I would encourage anyone to visit Shepards Grace Baptist Church no matter your geographical location, and if you live anywhere near Sandpoint Idaho I would urge you consider this church as your “home church”.

  Good bible preaching. I thank God that someone is starting a KJV, independent Baptist Church in Sandpoint. I will be back.
