Northside Baptist Church is a multigenerational fellowship of believers whose purpose is to evangelize the Quad Cities and beyond and make disciples of Jesus Christ. We have several ministries to meet the needs of our community, including children’s ministries, adult Bible studies, a robust evangelism program, and a faith-based addiction program. Our church is located in Davenport, IA. The pastor is Matthew Boyd.

This is a great Baptist church with a big vision. Pastor Joe really has a heart to reach this community and works hard to make this church a wonderful environment for Christian growth. When my wife and I first came here, this church took us in like family, and we have truly grown closer to the Lord the last 2 1/2 years. The people in this church give tremendous grace allowing for people to grow, but at the same time they expect growth and are consistently admonishing each other to become more like Christ in some area of our lives. If you want to be part of a church that still teaches the Bible from the King James, still sings the old hymns, still meets Sunday mornings, evenings, and Wednesdays, and still provides opportunity for soul winning and discipleship, while not being a mean-spirited church, then I highly recommend Northside. If you want to change for the better, this is a place that will tremendously help you spiritually. I can’t wait to see what God will do through this ministry, and I am so excited that I am part of it.
