Liberty Baptist Church in an independent Baptist church that has been around since 1947. LBC has a rich history but has faced some difficulties in recent years. The church, once booming, had dwindled down to just a few people. God is not done with Liberty Baptist Church. Today, Liberty’s message is still the same: Jesus is the name above all names and worthy to be lifted up. Jesus exceeds all expectations. He is everything!
We desire to have an impact as a church in Pittsburg, but also as individuals in our community. We aren’t called to be Christians at church, alone. The mission of Liberty is a simple one and touches every part of our church: “Loving God and serving Him by serving others and loving them.” That’s our calling. That’s our desire.
