Abstract of Principles of the Sovereign Grace Association
Election: We believe that God from eternity, purposed to save a people from their sins, for his Holy name’s sake and that in his infinite wisdom He devised the way and appointed every means [all of Christ] necessary to accomplish the great end of their redemption, which he effects, in his own time by the operation of His Holy Spirit.
Redemption: We believe the redemption obtained to be special for the Church, which is the body of Christ, and a special application of which will be made to all the elect or chosen in His time.
Salvation: We believe that every faculty of the soul of man is totally depraved, that it requires the Spirit of God to cause him to see, hear , to understand, to feel, to pray, to believe, and to repent, consequently, salvation is of the Lord.
The Church meets on the First and Third Sunday of each month at 9:30 am Central Time 10:30 am Eastern Time. Their singing is a cappella, mainly lined out metrical hymnody. They are very welcoming to visitors and have a small rural congregation.
