Bay State Baptist Church was established in 1999 in Tewksbury. Under Bryan Spicer’s leadership the Church grew rapidly having to move to a larger facility 3 times in the first 10 years. In 2010, again due to out growing its previous facility, Bay State Baptist Church moved to its current location in Billerica.

The Church has a high-energy style of contemporary worship led by Worship Leader Andrea Chase. Mrs. Chase frequently blends modern praise songs with traditional Hymns engaging people from all stages of life in the worship experience.

Bryan Spicer has a standup comedy style of preaching. He does not shy away from topics that many churches consider taboo, including sex & money. He offers a fresh perspective on the Bible that is relevant to everyday life. Pastor Spicer describes the Church as diverse, growing community of caring people.
