New Hope Baptist Church has been serving Jackson County and the city of Independence Missouri since 1964. We are a Jesus Loving, People Loving, Missions Loving, Independent, Fundamental, King James Only, Evangelistic, Old Paths, Bus Running, Baptist Church.
In these last days, as sound doctrine is becoming difficult for many to endure, we are, by His grace, sticking to the old paths. We are not upgrading from the God glorifying gospel hymns. We are not scaling back our outreach or missions support. We are not softening God’s message with feel good conversational preaching. Nor are we allowing corrupt bible versions to creep into our usage. All by His grace.
New Hope Baptist Church is an independent Baptist church in Independence, Missouri. The pastor is Dr. Darren Tharp.

Wonderful loving people who truly just love Jesus! The pastor is not afraid to preach the truth from Gods Word. They have a heart to reach people. 7 churches buses go out every Sunday to pick up people. Love this church!
