This was once a thriving, live body of believers, but the pastor, a coward and freeloader has allowed his wife to drive off most of the members, and there are no actual members left in the church. The pastor has failed as a shepherd, as the flock has been driven off and he did nothing to stop it, he did not care for the flock, he read from the Bible but does not practice what he preaches on any level when it comes to caring for the flock and self sacrifice in the Lord’s service, he has not had control of his wife’s meddling, control, jealousies and selfishness and by these shows and proves to all that he is not capable of being a pastor. It righteously angers former members and attenders as well of visitors how the pastor is more concerned with his own well being and his wife’s out of a controlling nature and jealousy has undermined the Lord’s congregation. This pastor needs to get on his knees and beg Jesus for forgiveness, and ask whole heatedly what should he do? I suggest he should move out of the church building, where he lives rent free, yet has only a handful of visitors, and no members, as it is selfish sin to stay and have no flock to care for. His wife needs to be told to stop, and repent as well. I have been praying for nearly 10 years for the Lord to get this man’s attention, and convict him of his abuse of privilege and allowing his wife to basically kill the church. Wake up pastor, you will be stand before Christ and he will ask you about his bride, the church and you will have to answer. Christ weighs the heart in all matters, and you need to get right or get out now.
