New Durham Baptist was started back in 1835 by a group of New York Christians who had a burden and desire to see souls saved in neighboring New Jersey. We have a rich history of preaching and teaching the Word of God. We are an Independent, Fundamental, Evangelistic Baptist Church. We are self- governing and self-supporting. The head of the church is the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible (KJV) is our sole authority for faith and practice. Our desire is to bring glory to the Lord by being fruit bearing Christians.
