Highland Baptist Church is the Independent Baptist church in Hobbs New Mexico, where God’s Word (the KJB) is the sole authority! We welcome you to a place with real love, sincere answers, timeless truth, clear direction & and people who genuinely care. It’s not a perfect place, but a great place where you’ll find help, acceptance, forgiveness, reward & courage to believe! In short, our goal is to passionately help others meet Jesus Christ and edifying, exhorting & equipping the born-again believer to be like Christ, fulfilling God’s Will for his or her life!

Pastor Coupé has labored for 10+ years to meet spiritual needs in the lives of the members, guests & surrounding community with a selfless passion which I’ve not seen anywhere else. The Truth is preached straight and the church body is becoming more and more like Christ all the time!
