Lafayette Church Believes it takes being Born Again to be justified and enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Knowing it takes the Preached Gospel to bring an individual to the state of conviction to which he/she has a broken heart and a contrite spirit. Once in the state of conviction and having a willing heart a person can repent with the aid of the Holy Spirit. After true repentance, the sacrifice Jesus Christ made on the cross of calvary, and his resurrection on the third and appointed day are applied to the Soul, justifying man through the work of Jesus Christ NOT the good deeds or “works” of mankind.
