The church is Independent Baptist, only uses the KJV, worships with traditional music, and averages 25 in attendance (mostly older congregation). The facility is in good condition and includes a mission house which could be used as temporary housing for the incoming pastor. There is a good spirit within the church and they have a desire to grow under the leadership of their next pastor. This position will be bi-vocational to start with the goal of becoming full-time as soon as possible. Swainsboro (population 7,500) is located between Macon, Savannah, and Augusta. The area is considered one of the fastest growing regions in the Southeastern US.
