Assistant Pastor Needed in Council Grove, KS

Brothers, our church is in “regrowth” mode, and there are some things we are praying about and seeking God’s direction and provision for.

We are earnestly praying God will send us a married couple, that he is able to preach and teach, help me with soul-winning visitation and lead music, and that they are both willing to be involved in ministry and leadership. I currently carry a full load of all the above. I am open to the right couple that God sends our way, however, I think a couple younger than myself would be ideal (I am mid fifties and my wife is mid fourties.)

We cannot pay much at this time, but I see it working into a staff, at least a “part-time” salaried position, but nothing more than perhaps a small weekly check to start. We are in north central Kansas, an hour from Wichita and about an hour and a half from Salina, in Council Grove, KS.

I don’t care about a resume. I am looking for a personal interview and the Lord’s leading. And I will also check with pastors and references.
