Berean Baptist Church in Newport, New Hampshire is seeking an assistant pastor. The church is Independent Fundamental Baptist, only uses the KJV, worships with traditional music, and averages 35-40 in attendance. Responsibilities will include developing a youth program to improve the American Heritage Girls and Trail Life programs that are already in place and preaching from time to time. Housing on the church property (a newly constructed 1,600 sq.ft. manufactured home) will be provided, but outside employment will be necessary. There are several employment opportunities in the area. Newport has a population around 6,400 and is located about 45 miles northwest of Concord which is the state capital. This would be an excellent opportunity for a young man out of Bible college to be mentored in the ministry.
