Anchor Baptist Church, is in the heart of the vibrant and rapidly growing Salt Lake City. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as the Assistant to the Pastor. Our church is a dynamic body committed to spreading the gospel through various ministries and outreach programs. This is a full-time position and offers a great opportunity for personal and ministry growth in an exciting church.
As the Assistant to the Pastor, you will provide essential administrative and logistical support, helping to plan and execute church events and programs. You will also participate in pastoral care, support various ministries within the church, community outreach, and assist with the maintenance and organization of church facilities. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our church services and events. Engaging with our congregation to foster a welcoming atmosphere will also be a significant part of your responsibilities.
We are looking for someone with strong organizational and communication skills, a heart for ministry, and a genuine desire to serve. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential, as is flexibility and a willingness to take on various tasks as needed. While not required, experience in Christian school education, proficiency in Spanish, practical skills for hands-on tasks and maintenance, and tech-savviness with a basic understanding of graphic design would be a plus.
