Pastor needed in Pennington Gap, VA

Rocklick Baptist Church of Pennington Gap, Virginia is prayerfully seeking its’ next pastor. We are an Independent Baptist Church in rural southwest Virginia. We are debt free with only having monthly utilities to pay and we support five missionaries. We can pay a weekly salary. We do not have a parsonage.

We believe that the King James Version Bible is the inspired word of God and we use it exclusively. The Pastor shall be guided by the principles set forth in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:6-9, and 1 Peter 5: 2-3 with a passion for Matthew 28:19-20. The Pastor shall be a believer in the basic doctrine of the Baptist Church.

We believe that baptism is by immersion and that the Lord’s Supper (Communion) is a memorial to His suffering and death on the cross. These are the ordinances to be observed by the church in its present age. These are, however, not to be regarded as means for man’s salvation.

As of right now we have about twenty-twenty five faithful people in the congregation. We are prayerfully seeking the Lord to send us the right man to lead the church.
