What does it mean to "go to church"? That has changed dynamically over the past few years but at GLBC it's about Jesus Christ and his love for you. At our church, Jesus is the hero and He's the theme. Going to church at GLBC is like it used to be, where people went to get fed from the Word of God, to fellowship with other believers, to hear teaching and preaching that changes your life if it is applied by enhancing your relationship with Jesus Christ. It's what Going to Church should be! Gospel Light Baptist Church was started in 1996 in Enid, Ok. It is an Independent Baptist Church meaning that we govern ourselves and are not affiliated with any convention or group other than who we choose. We not only use the King James Bible but believe it to be the Infallible, Inerrant Word of God and the authority for all matters of faith and practice. We are concerned for souls in our immediate area to the uttermost part of the earth and deliberately are concerned to be active in soul winning through outreach programs in our town and through missions both foreign and domestic. We strive to be faithful to the "Old Paths" as instructed in the Bible through old fashioned worship and praise of the Lord using the old hymns and spiritual songs in our Song services and through old fashioned preaching and teaching directly from the Word of God. Our ministries are related to glorifying our Savior Jesus Christ, edifying the saints of God and winning souls. We are involved in the Nursing home and retirement centers in Enid, every Sunday of the month, our church is on the local TV stations (Channel 11) through Enid TV, we have an addictions program for any addiction on Friday nights at 7:00 pm; our church is geared toward family with numerous children's activities including a Bus Ministry and King's Kids program on Wednesday Evenings. Our Young Adult and youth activities are to help grow the spiritual lives of young people with classes for all ages. We invite you to be a part of our services and pray for God's grace to abound in your life.
