We are continuing in our work for the Lord and will not rest until the Lord comes. There are many souls to be reached and our burden is that every one be ”RECONCILED to GOD” 2 Cor 5:20. The Lord has seen fit to initiate this work and we are confident that He will continue it till the day of Christ.
Pastor Johnny Tan is the Evangelist-Pastor of Ambassador Baptist Mission. Commissioned by founding church Maranatha Baptist as an evangelist, Pastor Johnny started the Mission in 2004 by faith and has toiled to shepherd it with sweat, tears, and blood to its current form today, being ever-watchful of the state of the flock and the integrity of the church.
Maranatha Baptist Church is an Independent Fundamental Baptist Church that was founded back in 1983.
Briefly put, that means that we are Independent or Autonomous as a church, not under any hierarchy or denominational structure and that we believe that the Head of the church is the Lord Jesus Christ Himself and that the church is not to be under any authority of man on earth though we are commanded, to obey all civil authorities because they are ordained of God.
Our conviction based on the scriptures is that the local church is the organization that the Lord Jesus Christ has instituted to accomplish all of God’s programmes on earth including the work of evangelism, starting churches, discipling, teaching, preaching and edification of the saints.
