We are currently praying for and prayerfully seeking for a hard-working, God-called man (preferably with experience), the man that God would have to join the ministry in the Pastor Position, and Pastor this church. We are prayerfully seeking a Bible loving, Christ following, soul hungry, local church man of God that lines up with the qualifications of the Bible to come and take this work. It is a great opportunity to really make a Gospel impact on this town. The Town has 14,241 souls, in a County of 173,215 souls.

At this time the position is Bi-Vocational, Self-Supported, or Missionary Pastor. There is no Parsonage, either.

This position can be viewed as preparatory to future ministry wherever the Lord might lead.

This is the Lord’s work, too. Our church building is paid for and we are a very peaceful group.

The Church owns its own building which can seat around 119 people (parking for 48 people, based on 12 Vehicles, with 4 people each [can be expanded to about an additional 6 to 9 Vehicles 24 to 36 people] for a total of 18 to 21 vehicles 72 to 84 people).

There are 10 to 20 regular Sunday Morning attenders, with new visitors almost every week. The members of the Church absolutely love preaching and we get about 75% of the people return for Sunday Evening Services. They love the Lord and are diligent note takers. Much potential. The folks are able to help some financially but the man who comes will have to have some support.

Crocker Bible Baptist Church is a small, rural, healthy independent, fundamental, KJV Bible only believing, Pre-Tribulation, Pre-Millenial, Non-Calvinistic, Baptist Church in our Doctrine, that is focused on Evangelism, Discipleship, and Expository Preaching using only the KJV, and loves Christ and the commission to establish like faith churches. We hold to the”Old Paths” of Preaching and Teaching the King James Bible as well as singing our traditional music is the godly and Christ-honouring Hymns and Songs of the Faith, handed down to us by preceding generations. We reject Calvinism, Arminianism, New IFB, legalism, liberalism or anything else that doesn’t line up with the Bible.

Qualifications: Any member of this Church or its Mission Churches, who gives evidence of a genuine call of God into the work of the ministry and possesses the qualifications stated in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:4-9, may be ordained as a minister of the Gospel. Upon a conference with the Pastor, or the Pulpit Supply Committee, and after the Pastor or Committee has approved the Candidate for Ordination, the Pastor or Committee shall call a council to examine and pass on the qualification of the Candidate. The Ordination Council shall consist of Ordained Ministers of like faith invited to participate in the examination of the Candidate. If the Candidate is found worthy of ordination by the Council, the Ordination Council may Ordain the Candidate on behalf of the Church. Preferred, but not required, although strongly encouraged to seek, even after becoming a Pastor, is a Minimum of an Undergraduate Degree in a Ministry-Related Field (Bible, Pastoral Ministries, Etc.) from a recognized Bible College/University, Graduate Training is desirable.
