West Jacksonville Baptist Church is an unaffiliated Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida. The church started in 1954 as Normandy Baptist Temple. The name was changed in May, 2000. Our music is traditional hymns, Southern Gospel, along with some modern choruses and hymns. We have ministries for all ages: Children, Teens, Adults, and a great senior adult ministry we call PrimeTime. The church has a strong faith-promise missions program as well.
Our church, West Jacksonville Baptist Church, is looking for a minister of music. We are seeking a spiritual and cooperative staff team member. We use traditional hymns and Redback hymns, along with other choruses. We are Traditional and Southern Gospel in style. We have a great choir! Experience with a choir and a good platform presence is a must. Biblical and doctrinal agreement, along with philosophical harmony, is also required.
