Lighthouse Baptist Church is an Independent Baptist church in Taylors, South Carolina. We are an Independent Baptist, KJV, Dispensational, Pre-Trib, Pre-Millennial, Rapture-believing Church, that enjoys singing the traditional hymns of the faith. We may be small, be we are mission-minded, supporting 15 missionaries. We are a loving Church, and invite anyone desiring to hear the truth to visit us during one of our services.
As of September 2025, we are looking for a Pastor, since our Pastor had to resign due to health issues. Any man considering and praying about applying to be a Pastor in our Church must adhere to beliefs in the above paragraph. Also, no Briders, no Calvin, no Andersonites please. Anyone considering applying must be aware that this position may require the Pastor to be Bi-Vocational for a short time. We do have a lovely parsonage. Lighthouse Baptist Church is praying and seeking for a new Pastor, as our Pastor had to resign in September 2025 due to health issues. Anyone interested must adhere to our beliefs as stated on this site, as well as our doctrinal statements on our website, a link which is provided on this site. Prefer an expository preacher who can delve deeply into the verses of Scripture, and teach and encourage our people from the pulpit. No Briders, No Calvin, No Andersonites. Must be willing to visit in homes, hospitals, etc. May need to be Bi-Vocational for a time.
