Fairhaven Baptist Church - Oconto, WI

Fairhaven was the first Baptist church in Oconto as there had never been a Baptist church before in this city. In 1995 the church purchased an old run-down supper club on Hwy 41 just outside of Oconto and began to have a Friday night Bible study and people came. Then they began having Sunday services and Friday evening services. Members of the church along with the King family did major renovations to the old supper club to make it fit for people to come to. Where the old bar room was is now a beautiful auditorium where God’s Word is preached, souls are saved, and God’s people are edified. Over the years, many have been taught the Word of God and have experienced the difference it can make in a person’s life.
